HONOURING THE LAND AND ITS PEOPLES

The lands on which I live and work are the traditional, treaty and Ancestral lands of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, and have been important gathering places for many other Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. As an uninvited inter-generational guest, I acknowledge that this is, was and will always be Indigenous land. I recognize the collective responsibility to work towards land return, and to support Indigenous sovereignty around the world.
